The Sidewinder is the first water monitor to utilize the new EXM control platform from Elkhart Brass. Developed as the successor to the radio frequency (RF) control series, the EXM is a “plug and play” digital communication and control architecture that simplifies installation while greatly expanding builder and user selectable options.
In addition to the EXM functionality, the Sidewinder has been further updated to employ Elkhart’s patented elliptical waterway and axially aligned thrust bearings for a 50% increase in flow efficiency and 10 times greater durability.
|The Cobra EXM is an Efficient, high-flow, electric remote controlled water monitor (water cannon) for fire apparatus, industrial pumper, and aerial vehicles.
The COBRA™ EXM monitor is specially designed to be compact providing a greatly reduced swing radius. Unique waterway swivel joints utilize stainless steel thrust rods, and needle roller thrust bearings, for unprecedented durability in a range of applications. The COBRA™ EXM utilizes a cast vaned waterway to minimize large-scale turbulence. The monitor may be powered with 12 or 24 volts.
Several base options are available for use with the COBRA™ EXM including a 3” flange, DN80-PN16 flange, 4” flange, 3” female NPT, and 3” female BSPT. The discharge may be ordered with either a 2.5” NHT or BSPP thread (3.5” for Model 7250). The COBRA™ EXM comes standard with permanent magnet DC gear motors but may be upgraded to high power motors. Both motor options are sealed to NEMA 4.

The Scorpion EXM is a large flow capacity addition to the EXM product family. Developed as the successor to the radio frequency (RF) control series, the EXM operating system is a “plug and play” digital communication and control architecture that simplifies installation while greatly expanding builder and user selectable options.
In addition to the EXM functionality, the Scorpion has been further updated to employ a new ultra high efficient waterway and axially aligned thrust bearings for a 23% increase in flow efficiency and 10 times greater durability.
|Taking the Scorpion EXM to the next level, the SkyStream EXM increases the flow capability to 3000 GPM (11355 LPM). With it’s 5” NHT outlet, the SkyStream delivers best in class flow that provides a reach of up to 120 meters, making it ideal for use with fire apparatus, industrial pumper, and aerial vehicles.|
|With its large 6” inlet and unique waterway, the 7600 EXM is capable of providing 5000 GPM (18925 LPM) flow where you need it most. Designing the 7600 to be a part of the EXM family ensures the same level of quality and durability the industry has come to know. In addition, it has the same programmable EXM features such as 3D travel limits, keep-out zones, travel speeds, stow position, and oscillation.|

The Sidewinder EXM UHP is a 1500 psi version of the Sidewinder EXM, and uses the same EXM control platform. Developed as the successor to the radio frequency (RF) control series, the EXM operating system is a “plug and play” digital communication and control architecture that simplifies installation while greatly expanding builder and user selectable options.
|The efficient 4” vaned waterway and 3.5” discharge matched with an SM-2000E master stream nozzle delivers an effective stream while the power of the EXM provides all of the user-programmable options, including travel limits, oscillation, stow and keep-out zones.|
|The Nitro HD monitor is specially designed for severe duty cycles. Unique waterway swivel joints utilize stainless steel thrust rods and needle roller thrust bearings for unprecedented durability in mining and construction applications. High power, permanent magnet DC gear motors that drive the left-right and up-down monitor motions are NEMA 4 rated for use in harsh environments. The monitor has a flow efficient 2¼” vaned waterway to minimize turbulence and provide superior nozzle streams. The water supply connection in the monitor base is a 2½” female national pipe thread, and the discharge nozzle connection has a 2½” national hose male thread.|
|The RAM XD is easily deployed and operated by a single firefighter. Its patented hydraulic stability system harnesses reaction force to stabilize the monitor. Four fold-out forged aluminum legs with carbide-tipped ground spikes extend to the largest footprint in its class for exceptional stability.
