| Environmental pollution will be
considerably reduced once the quality and maintenance of environmentally hazardous liquid
flow systems are improved. Blocking, discharging and testing plugs are MFC Survival's
contribution to the protection of our environment. USE These plugs are practically indispensable in the reconstruction of sewage systems, water and other pipelines. They are especially useful in testing the tightness of canals or pipelines. With these plugs, the leaking of poisonous substances from damaged pipelines and their entry into the sewage system can be prevented in a very short time. DIMENSIONS All types of plugs in our product line are manufactured in four standard dimensions applicable in canals and pipes with a diameter ranging from 10 to 100 cm. MATERIAL Three types of plugs are designed in the form of a hollow cylinder, while the fourth is bandage shaped. They are made of elastic rubber reinforced with a strong textile armour. Our plugs are practical, robust and have a long service life. They are resistant against most chemicals and may be used at temperatures ranging from -30 to +700. The elements enabling the inflation of plugs, liquid flow through the plugs and the ventilation of canals are made of brass and aluminium and are resistant against chemicals and oxidation. INFLATION The design of our plugs allows them to be inflated with compressed air: from a cylinder, compressor, truck compressor or by means of a hand or foot pump. EQUIPMENT The application of a single plug requires: a source of compressed air, a reduction valve with the possibility of regulation from 0 - 1.5 bar, a 10-meter high-pressure hose with an inner diameter of 8 mm and joining elements. SAFETY DURING HANDLING Instructions for safe application are provided with all plugs. Our well organized quality control service ensures that each plug is tested at a pressure equal to the maximum working pressure multiplied by 1.3 It is recommended to keep at a safe distance during inflation and deflation of plugs. |
